Crysis 3 – 7 Wonders
A great video about the people behind Crysis 3 and about the seven available environments.
Amazing
Crysis 3: Single Player Trailer
Yeah! A new Crysis 3 trailer (in the Crysis YouTube channel) is out and it is fantastic. I really wonder how the story will be!
I expect a lot, hopefully it will not flop. However, the new trailer gives me confidence. Crysis 3 (and GTA V) will be the best games in 2013!
Yeah! Well done Crytek.
A new indie game – SimuWorld
A new Journal about the development process of a new indie game.
CryENGINE 3 Tech Demo
Yeah! Another great tech demo from Crytek. I really love the new third generation global illumination, the fogs and the lights… It looks really delicious ![]()
But what is that bird and the butterflies? Come on, that could be done better

OpenGL 4.3
Yesterday (6th August 2012) the Khronos Group announced the new OpenGL 4.3 specification.
I was really surprised and happy. A new OpenGL! I’m really a OpenGL fan and doesn’t really like DirectX but that doesn’t matter.

Crysis 3: An external status report
After some days without new material about the next-gen blockbuster game Crysis 3, Crytek has released a new interactive trailer yesterday. I want to give my own two cents and tell you more about the current state. I have nothing to do with the development and the company (Crytek), so it is an external status report, which consists of facts that are available on the Internet.
Interactive Trailer
(This video is from the Crysis YouTube channel)
The new interactive trailer is amazing. I went through every possible way and saw how different the game can be when you play as Rambo or as Splinter Cell. Of course it is not really that fun. It is only a video where you can click here and there and see what happened. Real interactive you know?
SourceForge and the lost of Hosted Apps
No Piwik, no MediaWiki, no Trac, …
SourceForge is closing his Hosted Apps service: Hosted apps retirement
As a SourceForge fan and user I’m a bit sad but I think it is a right decision. The old hosted apps service never gives you the necessary access and space to do something like to add a new extension into your MediaWiki instance. Now (in fact you could even do it sooner) you can start your own hosted app in your own project-web space. I have done it and merged my old wiki (https://sourceforge.net/apps/mediawiki/pear3dengine/) to a new point (http://pear3dengine.sourceforge.net/wiki/).
But there is one very big problem… SourceForge allows only 16 Mb PHP memory space… this is not enough and the reason for the bad links [1] in the wiki. Hopefully they promised to work on the MediaWiki issues. So I’m looking forward!
PS: The old wiki links are now broken, I will change every link to the new url soon.
E3 – Crysis 3 Gamesplay DEMO
The E3 is full of many AAA games… My favorite game Crysis 3 with a gameplay DEMO. Look!
I can’t wait to play this game… The graphic and gameplay is amazing. If the Pear3DEngine will be like this sometime later?
